EFCC arrests Kwankwanso’s former adviser
The Economic and Financial Crimes a Commission (EFCC) has arrested Alhaji Muktar Umar Yerima, former special adviser to Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.
According to EFCC, Yerima who is the current chairman of Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State was arrested early yesterday morning over allegations of corruption.
Yerima is alleged to have diverted over N65,000,000.00 approved to participants in the Millennium Development Goals empowerment programme.

'Nothing Has Changed' — Source Reveals Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Remain Amicable Despite The Split!
Well this is good to hear, if only for the kids!
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner apparently haven't strayed far from each other despite splitting up more than three months ago, and they are making it a priority to remain very close.

The Gone Girl actor has moved into a rental house very near the couple's old home -- where Jen still lives -- according to a source, and not much has changed between the two of them since their breakup.
According to a source, the two are focused exclusively on their kids -- Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3 -- while remaining on good terms:
"They are working together and are keeping it amicable. This is something they have been working on for over a year – and they continue to be strong unit."But don't think it's just about the kids! Another source reveals that the couple is just as concerned about each other after their messy falling out, too:
"It's not just for the kids – it's also for them. They care about each other."Well that's good to hear!
Considering how much drama there was around the split, at least it seems like things have quieted down for the better!

APC youths in Kwara rejects Lai Mohammed's ministerial nomination
APC Youths in Kwara state have rejected the ministerial nomination of Lai Mohammed as the minister representing Kwara state. The youths under the aegis Coalition Groups of All Progressives Congress, APC presented a petition letter to the state party chairman, Ishola Balogun Fulani at the party secretariat, accusing Lai Mohammed of not working towards the success of the party in the state during the last election but concentrated his energy in Lagos state.

Former Bayelsa governor Diepreye Alamieyeseigha is dead
According to Channels Television, Bayelsa State Commissioner for Information, Esueme Dan-Kikili, stated that the former governor died of cardiac arrest on Saturday. Alamieyeseigha reportedly slipped into a coma on Thursday and was placed on life support.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday October 7th arraigned Abubakar Ali Peters and his company Nadabo Energy Limited before Justice S.S Ogunsanya of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja on 21 count charge bordering on obtaining money under false pretence, diversion of Federal Government funds and forgery.
