EFCC arrests Kwankwanso’s former adviser

The Economic and Financial Crimes a Commission (EFCC) has arrested Alhaji Muktar Umar Yerima, former special adviser to Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.
According to EFCC, Yerima who is the current chairman of Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State was arrested early yesterday morning over allegations of corruption.

Yerima is alleged to have diverted over N65,000,000.00 approved to participants in the Millennium Development Goals empowerment programme.

According to a source, the two are focused exclusively on their kids -- Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3 -- while remaining on good terms:

"They are working together and are keeping it amicable. This is something they have been working on for over a year – and they continue to be strong unit."

But don't think it's just about the kids! Another source reveals that the couple is just as concerned about each other after their messy falling out, too:

"It's not just for the kids – it's also for them. They care about each other."

Well that's good to hear!
Considering how much drama there was around the split, at least it seems like things have quieted down for the better!
